Polish food market is one of the biggest in European Union and also one of the main food producer. Polish agriculture is less mechanized, less fertilized and in the past was less funded than in another countries of the European Community. This couses that there are favorable conditions to develop the green agriculture and green consumerism. The society in Poland develops and people pay more attention to the quality of life and it’s important that the politicians see this changes. The purpose of my paper is to answer the question: how political parties in Poland see the issue of green consumerism? I will analyze the programs of main parties, who took apart in general elections in Poland. I would like to know, if the parties indicate this issue and how they change the approach to this during the years.
