The paper will first of all consider the most recent research findings on the Italian opinions about Europe. It will then expose the findings of a research based on semi-structured interviews conducted in Italy after the financial crisis in October-November and the replacement of Berlusconi’s government. The purpose is to compare the opinions of ordinaru citizens coming from different educational, professional and sociali backgrounds.
