Abstract

Teaching the younger generation has posed a challenge in the past several years. The changing expectations of new generations and obstacles of the recent COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented problems in the teaching and learning of foreign and domestic students. Therefore, the aim of this demonstration is to introduce how problem based learning was implemented in both international and domestic Hungarian classrooms. The session is planned as highly interactive, where participants can engage in the method similar to the students of the course at hand. A comparison is made between foreign and Hungarian student groups, while challenges of the same method used in mixed or domestic-only students are explained. The examined class is Market Research, conducted by the author in the spring semesters both in English and in Hungarian.
