Civic Literacy and Good Citizenship

My Paper Civic Literacy and Good Citizenship in Fostering Prescriptive Good Governance in Ameliorating Forced Migration will explore how a civic literate society will be able to engage effectively with the Executive, Legislative and the Judicial element of government in being able to express how Forced Migration and the concomitant collateral damage has affected untold people who are for the most part unable to present a voice in the condemnation of this practice. My paper will outline/explain how [civic] education is of utmost importance and concern. Why/how ''fragile'' state governments are unwilling or incapable to assist in the education of their respective peoples in promoting civic literacy. My paper will be based on my extensive professional experience working in the area of Civil Capacity Strengthening in regions of strife under the aegis of the UN/UNDP-CIDA-USAID-OSCE.
