2017 Summer School in Methods and Techniques, CEU, Budapest

In its 12th year, the ECPR’s Summer School in Methods and Techniques will be returning to Central European University’s Department of Political Science in Budapest.  The School continues to offer up-to-date methods training, across a mixture of three day refresher and one and two week courses, over a two and a half week period, all delivered by expert Instructors and supported by dedicated Teaching Assistants.

The Summer School forms part of the ECPR's Methods School, which aims to deliver a holistic methods training package across two schools, each offering cutting-edge courses in the full span of qualitative and quantitative topics. While the academic content of the School is designed to provide scholars with the methodological skill set vital to a research career, an exciting plenary programme provides many opportunities to establish all-important networks. The course content of the Summer School is designed to complement that of its sister event, the ECPR Winter School in Methods and Techniques, which took place 3-10 March 2017, at the University of Bamberg’s Graduate School of Social Sciences.

Central European University offers a fantastic mix of beautiful buildings, plenty of space for networking, great facilities and an unbeatable city-centre location. We look forward to bringing the Summer School to CEU for the second time.

The full course list is now available and registration information will be published shortly; please subscribe to the mailing lists in MyECPR to ensure you receive the latest updates on this event via email.
