National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, colloquially known as Mohylianka, is a highly ranked national research university located in a historic section of Kyiv, Ukraine. The university is bilingual in Ukrainian and English and is one of Ukraine's few universities with internationally recognized diplomas.

The National University of Singapore is a national public research university in Singapore. It was officially established in 1980 by the merger of the University of Singapore and Nanyang University.

New York University is a private research university in New York City, United States. Chartered in 1831 by the New York State Legislature, NYU was founded in 1832 by Albert Gallatin as a non-denominational all-male institution near City Hall based on a curriculum focused on a secular education.

Newcastle University is a public research university based in Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England. It has overseas campuses in Singapore and Malaysia. The university is a red brick university and a member of the Russell Group, an association of research-intensive UK universities

The forerunner of Nihon University, Nihon Horitsu Gakko (Japan Law School), was founded on October 4, 1889 by Count Akiyoshi Yamada and others. Yamada was a disciple of Shoin Yoshida, a scholar who devoted his life to modernizing Japan; he also served as the Minister of Justice under the Meiji government. In this position, he studied the legal systems of the U.S.A. and Europe, and played an instrumental role in systematizing Japan’s modern legal system. In contrast to the enthusiasm for westernization permeating Japanese society at that time, Yamada keenly felt a need for education of and research into legal principles that were rooted in Japanese history, culture, and traditions, and it was this conviction that inspired him to found the Nihon Horitsu Gakko.

Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University is one of the oldest education institutions in Ukraine. The reputation of its educational, research and cultural traditions is acknowledged far beyond the state borders. It was founded in 1805 funded by Oleksandr and Illia Bezborodko brothers as Gymnasium of Higher Science with the university status. Throughout its 210 years of functioning, Nizhyn University has changed its areas of education several times: Physics and Mathematics Lyceum (1832-1840), Law Lyceum (1840-1875), Institute of History and Philology (1875-1919), Institute of People’s Education (1919-1933), Pedagogical Institute (1933-1998), Pedagogical University (1998-2004), and, finally, Classic University (since 2004). Since its foundation, the University has trained more than 60,000 graduates: teachers, lawyers, engineers, etc. Many acclaimed scientists and cultural figures are its alumni, among them Mykola Gogol, after whom the University was named in 1939. To-date, there are six faculties and institutes (Faculty of Natural and Exact Sciences, Educational and Research Institute of Philology, Translation, and Journalism, Oleksandr Rostovskyi Educational and Research Institute of Art, Faculty of Psychology and Social Work, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of History and Law). These units comprise 20 departments. The educational process is provided by 213 lecturers, among them 38 professors with the doctor’s degree and 137 associate professors with the degree of doctor of philosophy. The university issues diplomas for three degrees; bachelor, master, and doctor of philosophy. Currently, there are 1500 undergraduate and post-graduate students at studies. The University’s departments maintain close ties with educational and research facilities abroad, in the USA, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Georgia, Greece, China, Sweden, etc. Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University is an active participant of international projects, programmes (including Erasmus+), and grants and has a close cooperation with international agencies like The British Council, The United States Agency for International Development, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, Goethe-Institut, etc.

Newcastle Business School is a business school in the north of England, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. It is part of the Faculty of Business and Law at Northumbria University. The business school offers undergraduate education in Business, Management, leadership, and the MBA qualification.

The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs carries out research and disseminates findings on global power relations, security policy, development issues, international economics and Norwegian foreign policy.

The Department of Sociology and Political Science at NTNU has education and research on media, communication and information Technology, sport science, sociology, political science and teacher education in social science and physical education and sport.

The Open University of Israel is a distance-education university in Israel. It is one of ten public universities in Israel recognized by the Council of Higher Education. The Open University does not require a matriculation certificate, psychometric exam, or other entrance exam for admission to undergraduate studies.

Oslo Metropolitan University is a state university in Oslo and Kjeller in Norway. It is the result of the merger of many former vocational colleges in the Greater Oslo Region. It has around 1,400 academic employees, around 20,000 students and around 800 administrative support staff.

In 2023, the Institute of Social Sciences at Osnabrück University had seven chairs in political science: Comparative Politics, IR (with a specialization in peace and conflict studies), Political Theory, International Political Economy, European Integration, German Politics in Context of European Multi-Level Governance, and Forced Migration and Refugee Studies. It is linked to the interdisciplinary Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS), the Center for the Study of Conflict and Peace (CeCoP) and the Japan Research Center. The institute offers BA programs in the social sciences and European studies; MA programs cover conflict and peace studies, European governance, and sociology.
