We've created this handy guide to help you at every step of your SGEU conference experience – from uploading your Paper to making the most of your participation.
Important: Please ensure you are logged into the event platform using the same email address as the one you have registered for the event with.
With the last in-person Conference of the SGEU held in 2018, the organisers are looking forward to a fully in-person event in Rome. With this in mind, the Conference will, unfortunately, offer no provision for virtual participation.
Following the new measures introduced by the Italian government, Luiss University has decided that from 1 May 2022, it will no longer be obligatory to show a Green Pass to access University campuses and services.
The wearing of a surgical or FFP2 mask is strongly recommended in enclosed spaces and outdoors when there are crowds or gatherings.
Our organisers have put together some important practical information here, including health and safety essentials, details on how to book your lunches, and local restaurant recommendations.
The organising team have secured discounted rates at a selection of hotels nearby Luiss, which you can browse here.
When arranging travel and accommodation, please ensure that your booking is refundable.
It is your responsibility to arrange appropriate travel insurance. ECPR is not liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation made by participants.
We think that everyone deserves a positive event experience. Please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the conduct of participants at all our events.
Please upload your Paper by Friday 3 June so that your fellow participants have time to prepare comments and questions.
Your Paper must be in PDF format and in English.
You can also use this facility to replace your Paper or remove it after the event.
Please note that uploading your Paper via My ECPR constitutes an agreement for ECPR to publish the Paper on this website.

ECPR may record all events in the form of photography, screen capture, filming, and audio recording of interactions such as discussions during Panel sessions, breaks and plenary events. This media may be used by us to promote ECPR activities. These activities may include publishing it at ecpr.eu, or using it in digital and email marketing, on social media, and in other promotional materials.
If you do not wish to appear in such media, please let our Events Team or one of our Student Assistants present onsite know.
