Guide for the Joint Sessions

Our Code of Conduct outlines our expectations regarding the conduct of participants at all our events. Please read it carefully before the event begins.

Reporting harassment

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible; by reporting, you will help make the Joint Sessions a better place. Harassment and other Code of Conduct violations reduce the value of our work for everyone and will not be tolerated.

Reporting anonymously

You can make an anonymous report by completing the form on the website here. We will not be able to follow up an anonymous report with you directly, but we will investigate it and take appropriate action to prevent a recurrence.

Reporting in person

You can make a personal report by:

Contacting an ECPR staff member and requesting the Duty Officer.
Calling or messaging us on this number +44 7397 541600. This phone number will be monitored 24 hours a day by our Duty Officer for the duration of the event.

When taking a personal report, we will ensure you are safe and cannot be overheard. We will ask you to tell us about what happened; we will handle this as respectfully as possible and be guided by your wishes as to what happens next. You can bring someone to support you and we will not ask you to confront anyone.

We may need to involve other staff to ensure your report is managed properly. We will keep you informed as to any actions taken in response to your complaint. We will be happy to help you contact hotel/venue security, local law enforcement agencies, local support services, provide escorts, or otherwise assist you to feel safe.
