Karl Jaspers is not known, nor as a political philosopher, nor a Kantian. Contrary to these opinions, he is probably the precursor of Kant's political philosophy in general. As the first, indisputably, he acknowledges the fact that Kant's political philosophy is obvious, he also perceives himself as a Kantian but in a specific sense of the word.
My intention is to show the character and meaning of the so-called "Jaspers school", which is a group of his students in a creative way developing the ideas indicated by the teacher. I would also like to show Jaspers' attachments to Kant's philosophy, as well as to present the statements of the German philosopher through which he very clearly declares that Kant's philosophy had a great meaning for his development and way of reasoning.
