Abstract

In this interview-based article, Vjosa Musliu and Enduena Klajiqi conversate about the multi-faceted role of women in Kosovo: from their fight for a 'dual liberation' against Serbia’s oppressive regime and against their own patriarchal system in the second half of the 20th century, to the feminist movements emerging during the 1990s. Doing so, the authors reflect on the legacy of these movements and its lessons for feminist solidarities worldwide, as well as on women's resistances against the state and liberal peacekeeping regime.
