Abstract

This section invites panels and papers focusing on the nexus of law and politics in the EU. Proposals may focus on developments at the EU or national level, or the intersection of the two. Contributions on a wide variety of topics are welcome, including, for instance, the politics of EU legal integration, the role of litigation and courts in shaping EU policies, the domestic impact of EU law, the relationship (and tensions) between the EU and national legal orders, and legal dimensions of the EU's responses to recent crises. Interdisciplinary perspectives are very welcome, including ones that combine political science approaches with legal/doctrinal analysis. Likewise, we invite proposals with a wide range of methodological approaches.
