Abstract
The proposed panel brings together scholars that use the data gathered within the Making Electoral Democracy Work Project's framework for their research. MEDW is the most ambitious study ever undertaken of the impact of electoral rules on the functioning of democracy (See http://electoraldemocracy.com/). André Blais (the project director) and Damien Bol (the project coordinator) would chair the proposed panel. Pedro Riera (University of Strathclyde) and Elias Dinas (University of Nottingham) accepted to serve as discussants.
