The methods café brings together a range of instructors who specialise in various methods and approaches. The informal setting of a 'café', provides the opportunity for one-on-one and group discussions in a relaxed environment. This is ideal for doctoral students and established researchers who might be looking for assistance with any aspect of a research project, from design to execution to writing. There will be a selection of tables, each with its own research method/topic/approach e.g. 'Discourse Analysis' or 'Regression Analysis'. Each table will be hosted by one or two specialists who will manage the discussions. You can help yourself to a drink and choose from the menu of topics to join. If you would like to join more than one discussion, you can plan in advance. A menu of topics and specialists will be available before the school starts.
Please only attend if you intend to participate in a discussion.
