Abstract
Existing research has analyzed patterns in advocacy strategies, including ‘outside’ lobbying in media debates and ‘inside’ lobbying of policymakers. Still, there remain many open questions regarding the strategies interest groups and other advocates use in different venues, on different issues and in different countries. This panel brings together scholars of advocacy strategies to further our understanding of how lobbying actors try to shape and/or respond to the political or media agenda.
