Political Data Yearbook bids goodbye to Kevin Deegan-Krause

Kevin Deegan-Krause (Wayne State University, Detroit) will soon complete his term of office as Co-Editor of the Political Data Yearbook.

Throughout his editorial term, Kevin has played a key role in establishing PDY with the publishers, Wiley, and has led the development of the online edition.

Kevin implemented and oversaw huge improvements to the Yearbook during his tenure: managing the database and its architecture, expanding and consolidating its existing archive, adding new data resulting from political changes in the 38 countries currently covered, and developing outreach to increase the visibility of the dataset.

ECPR extends its heartfelt thanks to Kevin for his enthusiasm and outstanding achievements over the past six years.

Kevin will be replaced by Thomas Mustillo, who joins Liam Weeks and Andreas Bågenholm on the PDY editorial team.

Political Data Yearbook

Published in association with the ECPR’s flagship journal, the European Journal of Political Research (EJPR), the PDY contains comprehensive, authoritative data and analysis of electoral results, national referenda, changes in government, and institutional reforms for a range of countries, within and beyond the EU.

Its online version PDY:Interactive (PDYi) is a unique, freely available data source in a fully searchable and downloadable format, making it an invaluable tool for those working in this area of the profession.
